Through our selection process, we identify entrepreneurs that have shown perseverance their entire lives.
They’ve overcome adversity, faced setbacks and have learned how to work through difficult situations. While some may view these challenges as a weakness that will add more risk to starting a business, we believe it is actually one of their biggest strengths. When given the proper resources, our entrepreneurs have a distinct advantage over their competitors because of their proven ability to persist through difficult times.

"After retiring with 40 years of experience with Corning Inc. and General Electric, CHARGE is a way for me to give back to others. Working with the student interns allows me to share practical wisdom and experience as we work on Projects together. I hope that this activity supplements the student's academic education with real-world experience and learning. In addition, I love talking with the seniors about potential job opportunities and giving them advice on interviewing techniques and preparation. Working with Entrepreneurs allows me to help individuals who may not have had the educational opportunities or work experience that I was blessed to have during my career. This, in turn, allows me to provide insight, advice, and direction that the Entrepreneurs might not otherwise receive or be able to afford through outside consultants.
